Valérie Bernier?s Story

When she was 9 years old, Valérie learned that she was suffering from a malignant cancer called osteosarcoma. After long treatments and a double amputation, Valérie's battle is not yet over. She will be followed at the CHU Sainte-Justine until the year 2022.

Valérie hopes to become a veterinary surgeon when she grows up. Today, at the age of 11, she adores life. On June 14, 2008, Valérie will be part of Francis Bouillon's team for "Step Up for the Children". "If you have lived a healthy life and you are grown up, please give a sick child the same chance."
